The author proves the following result, let \(F\) be a positive strictly increasing logarithmic convex or concave function on \((0,1]\), then for \(k\) being a nonnegative integer and \(n\) a natural number, the sequence \({1\over n}\sum^{n+k}_{i=k+1} \ln f({i\over n+k})\) is decreasing in \(n\) and \(k\) and has a lower bounded \(\int^1_0 f(t)\,dt\). From this, some new inequalities involving \(\root n\of{(n+ k)!/k!}\) are deduced.
