The celebrated MacMahon Master Theorem was generalized many times in the literature, notably in [\textit{P. Cartier} and \textit{D. Foata}, Problèmes combinatoires de commutation et rearrangements. Berlin etc.: Springer-Verlag (1969; Zbl 0186.30101)] and more recently in [\textit{S. Garoufalidis, Thang T.Q. Lê} and \textit{D. Zeilberger}, Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. USA 103, No. 38, 13928--13931 (2006; Zbl 1170.05012)]. In the present paper, a new proof of the classical MacMahon Master Theorem is presented, based on a bijection between two families of words. The idea of the proof is pushed to obtain a series of generalizations, including those of Cartier-Foata and Garoufalidis et al. and also a super-analogue. The most general version (which is new) concerns variables that commute according to a matrix \((q_{ij})\). There are also applications to generalizations of the \(\beta\)-extension due to [\textit{D. Foata} and \textit{D. Zeilberger}, SIAM J. Discrete Math. 1, No. 4, 425--433 (1988; Zbl 0662.05003)]; and to a derivation of the \(q\)-analogue of the MacMahon Master Theorem obtained in [\textit{C. Krattenthaler} and \textit{M. Schlosser}, Discrete Math. 204, No. 1--3, 249--279 (1999; Zbl 0936.33011)].
