The concept of the direct product of two t-norms on a product lattice was introduced by \textit{B. De Baets} and \textit{R. Mesiar} [Fuzzy Sets Syst. 104, No. 1, 61--75 (1999; Zbl 0935.03060)]. The present paper continues this research. First, the authors investigate the direct decomposability of pseudo-t-norms and t-norms on a product lattice. Next, they characterize the implication operation on a product lattice that is a direct product of two implications and study the direct decomposability of \(S\)-implications, \(R\)-implications, \(n\)-reciprocal \(R\)-implications and \(n\)-reciprocal \(QL\)-implications on a product lattice. Several examples and appropriate counterexamples are stated.
