The author studies the linear planar system \[ x'=A(t)x, \] where the matrix \(A=(a_{ij}(t))\) is a \(2\times 2\) matrix with measurable coefficients and the coefficients of the matrix satisfy interval constraints \(a^-_{i,j}\leq a_{ij}(t)\leq a_{ij}^+\) for \(t\geq 0\). The author proves necessary and sufficient conditions which ensure that the system possesses various types of oscillation behavior (absolutely nonoscillatory, absolutely oscillatory, oscillatory in negative direction, oscillatory in positive direction and oscillatory in both directions). These criteria are formulated in terms of numbers \(a^+_{ij}\) and \(a^-_{ij}\).
