The authors, especially the second one, have developped a Clifford function theory using the hyperbolic metric in the upper half-space. An advantage of the hyperbolic Clifford analysis is the fact that the usual elementary functions as powers and so on and also power series are automatically holomorphic or monogenic.-- In this paper a new approach is presented using the involutions of a Clifford algebra \(C{\ell}_n\) and its standard projections onto the Clifford algebra \(C{\ell}_{n-1}\). A survey of the theory is given, and some interesting results are proven regarding the uniqueness of the differential equation's form for this hyperbolic function theory.
