Measures generated by iterated function systems (I.F.S.) can be used in place of atomic measures in Gaussian integrations. In this paper, the author presents a new algorithm for the approximation of a target measure by measures in the class of iterated function systems. This algorithm is numerically stable and it can also be coded symbolically. An inverse problem in fractal construction is given.
