The structures of finite groups whose Sylow subgroups are quasinormal, conjugate-permutable, semipermutable, \(s\)-semipermutable, respectively, are determined. For example Theorem 2.8. Let \(G\) be a finite group. Then the following conditions are equivalent: (1) Maximal subgroups of Sylow subgroups of \(G\) are normal in \(G\); (2) Maximal subgroups of Sylow subgroups of \(G\) are quasinormal in \(G\); (3) Maximal subgroups of Sylow subgroups of \(G\) are \(s\)-quasinormal in \(G\); (4) \(G=H\langle x\rangle\), where \(H\) is a nilpotent normal Hall subgroup of \(G\), a generator of any Sylow \(p\)-subgroup of \(\langle x\rangle\) induces an automorphism \(\sigma\) of order 1 or \(p\) on \(H\), and for all \(a\Phi(H)\in H/\Phi(H)\), there exist an integer \(l\) such that \(a^\sigma\Phi(H)=a^l\Phi(H)\).
