The moduli space \(\mathcal{I}_{m}(X,\beta)\) parametrizes closed subschemes \(Z\) of the smooth projective threefold \(X\), having holomorphic Euler characteristic \(m\), and whose associated class \([Z]=\beta \in H_2(X;\mathbb{Z})\) [see \textit{D. Maulik}, \textit{N. Nekrasov}, \textit{A. Okounkov} and \textit{R. Pandharipande}, Compos. Math. 142, No. 5, 1263--1285 (2006; Zbl 1108.14046)]. In the present article the authors consider the situation when \(X\) is a threefold with a Zariski-local fibration over a smooth projective surface \(S\). The fibers are smooth irreducible curves of genus \(g\), and \(\beta\) denotes the homology class of such a curve. The authors introduce the moduli space \(\mathcal{I}_{m,n} := \mathcal{I}_{m(1-g)+n}(X,m \beta).\) They identify \(\mathcal{I}_{m,0}\) with the Hilbert scheme \(S^{[m]}\) parametrizing \(m\)-points on the surface \(S\), and they show that \(\mathcal{I}_{m,1}\) is obtained by blowing-up \(S^{[m]}\times X\) along the universal family.
