The authors consider the following class of Rayleigh equations with a deviating argument \[ x''(t)+f(x'(t))+g(x(t-\tau(t)))=p(t). \] They obtain some sufficient conditions for the existence of periodic solutions. Their work generalizes and improves known results in the literature.
