The article is devoted to differentiable functions on quotient rings of \(\mathbb{R}[x]\) by cyclotomic polynomials of order \(m\). Especially the periodicity of analogues of trigonometric functions is studied. For this Euler's method is generalized to quotient rings \(A_m\). Analogues to trigonometric functions \(g^{\langle p\rangle}_k\) are defined with the help of power series. Then a generalized Riemann zeta function \(\zeta_p\) is considered. Calculating \(\zeta_p(p)\) the authors demonstrate, that for \(p\geq 3\) none of the functions \(g^{\langle p\rangle}_k\) is periodic on \(A_p\).
