Fundamental operator functions of singular differential operators under spectral boundedness conditions (Q2459693)

Differential equations with a degenerate operator multiplying the highest derivative are investigated. Since such equations are solvable in the class of continuous functions only under a specific relation between the initial conditions and the right-hand side, the authors study the problem of constructing generalized solutions [see: (1) \textit{N. A. Sidorov} and \textit{M. V. Falaleev}, Differ. Uravn. 23, No. 4, 726--728 (1987; Zbl 0618.34015)], which, in turn, can be solved effectively with the use of fundamental operator functions corresponding to these equations.
