In this article the authors propose, that the ``Feigenbaum-Sharkovskii-Magnitskii theory'' can be used for the description of complicated irregular solutions of many different types of nonlinear differential equations. They observe a common universal scenario of passage to chaos through a subharmonic cascade of bifurcations of stable limit cycles. After an enumeration of basic features of the classical and modern concepts of dynamical chaos in nonlinear dissipative systems they shortly sketch the main statements and conclusions of their theory. Then they study the Duffing-Holmes equation, a nonlinear Mathieu equation, a system of Croquet equations, and the Krasnoshchekov equation, all of which display quite similar behaviour.
