This paper is concerned with the problem of dynamical reconstruction of the variable input of a nonlinear functional dynamical system. More precisely, the authors consider the following class of functional differential equations \[ x'(t)=f(t,x(t-\nu))+Bu(t),\;t\in[0,T],\quad x(s)=x_0(s),\;s\in[-\nu,0],\;t\in[0,a], \] where \( x\in\mathbb R^N, u\in\mathbb R^n, \nu>0, T<\infty,\) \(B\) is an \(N\times n\) matrix, \(f\) matrix function. The algorithm for solving the above problem is outlined, based on the theory of stable dynamical inversion, which combines methods of the theory of ill-posed problem control with a model.
