A subact \(A\) of a right \(S\)-act \(B\) over a semigroup \(S\) is said to be `sequentially dense' (`s-dense') in \(B\) if \(bS\subseteq A\) for each \(b\in B\). A homomorphism \(f\colon A\to B\) is said to be `s-dense' if \(f(A)\) is an s-dense subact of \(B\). An \(S\)-act \(A\) is said to be `sequentially dense injective' (`s-injective') if it is injective with respect to s-dense monomorphisms. From a number of results about s-injective acts recall here the following: 1) A right \(S\)-act \(A\) is s-injective if and only if every homomorphism \(f\colon cS\to A\) from a cyclic act can be extended to \(f\colon cS^1\to A\); 2) All right \(S\)-acts are s-injective if and only if \(S\) has a left identity element; 3) A product of s-injective \(S\)-acts is s-injective if and only if all its components are s-injective; 4) All coproducts of s-injective \(S\)-acts are s-injective if and only if \(S\) as a right \(S\)-act is indecomposable; 5) For a countably generated semigroup \(S\), the direct sum of each family of s-injective acts is s-injective if and only if \(S\) as a right \(S\)-act is finitely generated.
