The classical Ostrowski inequality reads as follows: \[ \left| f(x)-\frac{1}{b-a}\int_a^bf(t)dt\right| \leq\left[\frac{1}{4}+\frac{\left(x-\frac{a+b}{2}\right)^2}{(b-a)^2}\right] (b-a)\| f'\| _{\infty},\quad x\in[a,b], \] where the function \(f\) is sufficiently smooth. The related inequalities involving (on the right hand side) fractional derivatives are also known. The paper is devoted to study their multivariate counterparts. It brings many bounds of the term \[ \left| f(x)-\frac{1}{\text{Vol}Q}\int_Qf(z)dz\right| , \] where \(Q\subset{\mathbb R}^n\) is a compact and convex set with fixed \(x\in Q\) and \(f:Q\to{\mathbb R}\) is a function with some regularity properties. The obtained inequalities are sharp, i.e. they are attained.
