The equations being a mathematical model of an oscillator under the action of random forces are studied. There are examined the conditions under which the oscillator preserves periodic steady states in presence of pseudo sinusoidal signals in frequency domain. In doing so, Fourier expansion of such inputs are used. The considered model not only points out the difference between linear and nonlinear perturbations, but accounts for how Lorentzian spectrum degenerates to power-law spectrum under weak modulation, also. The principle of frequency modulation is used in this analysis. Examples are presented, where the phase noise of a simple nonlinear conductance oscillator is calculated in accordance with proposed algorithm.
