A note on invariant measure semigroups (Q2461617)

Let \((S, m)\) be a commutative invariant measure semigroup, i.e. \(S\) is a Hausdorff topological Abelian semigroup and \(m\) an inner regular ``Borel'' measure on \(S\) which is invariant (\(m(Kx)= m(K)\) for all compact \(K\) and \(x\in S\)). For a commutative invariant Radon semigroup \((S, m)\), the author proves that in some cases \(S\) has a locally compact group kernel (minimal ideal) on which \(m\) is the Haar measure.
