Onset of solutions with internal layers approaching the domain boundary (Q2461845)

The author studies that under some conditions, the existence of a unique solution of problem: \(\varepsilon(\Delta u-u_{t})=f(u,x,\varepsilon), (x,t)\in D\times(0,+ \infty), U| _{x\in\partial D}=g(x), U| _{t=0}=u_{0}(x,\varepsilon)\) and study the behaviour of the solution in a neighbourhood of the initial time on an interval of length \(O(\varepsilon ^{2})\) in~\(t\).
