Horizontal submanifolds of groups of Heisenberg type (Q2462224)

In the paper under review the authors study maximal horizontal subgroups of Carnot groups of Heisenberg type. They classify those whose dimension is half of the canonical distribution. They also describe examples of small dimension, that illustrate various remarkable features. As a consequence, they obtain an infinitesimal classification of maximal horizontal submanifolds.
