Let \(G\) be an H-type group, \(\Omega\) an open set of \(G\), \(D_0^{1,p}(\Omega)\) the closure of \(C_0^\infty(\Omega)\) with respect to the norm \[ | | u| | =\left(\int_{\Omega}| Xu| ^p\,dx\,dy\right)^{1/p} \] where \(X\) is the horizontal gradient. For \(1<p<Q\), \(0\leq s\leq p\) and \(p_*(s)=p(Q-s)/(Q-p)\), the Hardy-Sobolev type inequality \[ \left(\int_\Omega \frac{| x| ^s}{\rho^s}\,\frac{| u| ^{p_*(s)}}{\rho^s}\,dx\,dy\right)^{1/p_*(s)}\leq C\left(\Omega | Xu| ^p\,dx\,dy\right)^{1/p},\quad \forall\, u\in D_0^{1,p}(\Omega) \] holds. In this paper, the regularity of the weak solutions to a class of non-linear equations corresponding to the above inequality is discussed. Combining \textit{J. Serrin}'s idea in [Acta Math. 111, 247--302 (1964; Zbl 0128.09101)] and \textit{J. Moser}'s iteration in [Commun. Pure Appl. Math. 14, 577--591 (1961; Zbl 0111.09302)], the authors establish the \(L^p\) estimates of the weak solution, which generalize the results of \textit{N. Garofalo} and \textit{D. Vassilev} in [Math. Ann. 318, 453--516 (2000; Zbl 1158.35341)] etc. As an application, the asymptotic behavior of the weak solution is discussed. The doubling property and the unique continuation of the weak solution are also given.
