Blow-up properties of solutions for a multi-coupled parabolic system (Q2464284)

Let \(B_R=\{x\in\mathbb R^N:| x| <R\}\) and \(p,m,q,n,l,k\geq0\). The authors study positive radial solutions of the parabolic system \(u_t=\Delta u+v^p+u^m\), \(v_t=\Delta v+u^q+v^n\) in \(B_R\times(0,T)\), complemented by the nonlinear boundary conditions \(\partial u/\partial\nu=v^l\), \(\partial v/\partial\nu=u^k\) on \(\partial B_R\times(0,T)\). They find necessary and sufficient conditions for simultaneous blow-up and they also study the blow-up set and blow-up rate. In particular, it is shown that the blow-up rate may also depend on the initial data.
