The paper presents qualitative results of the Phragmén-Lindelöf type for upper semicontinuous viscosity solutions of fully nonlinear partial differential inequality of the form \[ F(x,Du,D^2u) \geq 0, \] in a general unbounded domain \(\Omega\) of \(\mathbb{R}^N\), where \(Du\), \(D^2u\) are the gradient and the Hessian of \(u\) and \(F=F(x,p,M)\) is a continuous real-valued function defined in \(\Omega\times \mathbb{R}^n\times S^n\), with \(S^n\) being the set of the \(n\times n\) real symmetric matrices equipped with the usual partial order. By assuming a degenerate ellipticity and some structure conditions on \(F\) and a geometric condition on \(\Omega\), the proof is carried out by using the Caffarelli-Cabré boundary weak Harnack inequality and local maximum principle for viscosity solution.
