Let \(A\) a hereditary algebra over an algebraically closed field. By the \(m\)-replicated algebra \(A^{(m)}\) of \(A\) we mean the algebra of \((m+1)\times(m+1)\)-matrices of the form \[ \begin{pmatrix} A&0&0&\cdots &0\\ DA&A&0&\cdots &0\\ 0&DA&A&\ddots &\vdots\\ \vdots&\ddots&\ddots&\ddots &0\\ 0&\cdots &0&DA&A\end{pmatrix}. \] The authors show: there is a bijection between the faithful \(A^{(m)}\)-modules of projective dimension at most \(m\) and the objects of the \(m\)-cluster category \(\mathcal C_m(A)\) of \(A\). Here, \(\mathcal C_m(A)\) is the orbit category of the derived category \(\mathcal D^b(\text{mod\,}A)\) with respect to the action of the functor \(\tau^{-1}\Sigma^m\), where \(\tau\) is the Auslander-Reiten translation and \(\Sigma\) is the shift. Moreover, this bijection restricts to a bijection between the faithful exceptional \(A^{(m)}\)-modules of projective dimension at most \(m\) and the exceptional objects in the \(m\)-cluster category \(\mathcal C_m(A)\) of \(A\), where an object \(X\) of \(\mathcal C_m(A)\) is called exceptional if \(\Hom_{\mathcal C_m(A)}(X,\Sigma^iX)=0\) for all \(i=1,\dots,m\). As a consequence it follows that there is a bijection between the (generalized) tilting \(A^{(m)}\)-modules and the tilting objects in \(\mathcal C_m(A)\), where an object of \(\mathcal C_m(A)\) is called tilting if this is maximal exceptional.
