Renormalized solutions of an anisotropic reaction-diffusion-advection system with \(L^1\) data (Q2464564)

The authors deal with a system of nonlinear partial differential equations with anisotropic diffusivities and transport effects, which describe the spread of an epidemic disease through a heterogeneous habitat. They study this system in the framework of renormalized solutions and prove the existence of a renormalized solution.
