The author aims to extend earlier results on the Yamabe flow in dimension 6 and higher. Let \((M,g)\) be a Riemannian manifold of dimension \(n\) and \(d=\frac{n-2}{2}\). We denote by \(\mathcal{Z}\) the set of all points \(p\in M\) such that \(\lim \sup_{x\to p} d(p,x)^{2-d}| W_{g}(x)| =0\), where \(W_{g}\) denotes the Weyl tensor of \(g\). Mainly, the author has obtained the following result: Theorem: Let \((M,g)\) be a compact Riemannian manifold of dimension \(n\geq 6\). Assume that \(\mathcal{Z}=\emptyset\) or \(M\) is a spin manifold. Then, for every initial metric \(g_{0}\) in the conformal class of \(g\), the Yamabe flow exists for all time and converges to a metric of constant scalar curvature.
