This book is not a systematic course of theoretical physics, it contains only selected problems and topics. The book is based on lectures on additional chapters of theoretical physics given by author. The author strives to rely in the book on qualitative, intuitive arguments, as far as they can be sufficient at all for theoretical physics. The book can be accessible and useful for a student who has digest common courses of analytical mechanics, electrodynamics, and quantum mechanics. Topics discussed in this book are: classical mechanics, wave phenomena, atomic physics, semiclassical approximation in the complex plane, quantum electrodynamics.
