The authors consider the optimal recovery problem for solutions of a generalized heat equation in the unit \(d\)-ball at the time \(\tau \), \(t_{1}<\tau <t_{2}\), from inaccurate solutions at the times \(t_{1}\) and \(t_{2}\). They provide the optimal error and present an algorithm which achieves this error level. The result is interesting.
