The authors propose a class of balancing domain decomposition with constraints algorithms (BDDC) for discontinuous Galerkin discretization of the Dirichlet problem for 2D second-order elliptic equations with discontinuous coefficients. Using the theory of additive Schwarz techniques they provide condition number estimates for their methods.
