Anisotropic quaternion Carnot groups: Geometric analysis and Green function (Q2465834)

The authors consider 2-step Carnot groups related to quaternions and in particular their fine structure and geometric properties. Using the Hamiltonian formalism they obtain the explicit equations of the geodesics as well as the number of geodesics joining two points. The authors describe also the fundamental solutions of the heat and the sub-Laplace operator on those groups and obtain for them some usefull estimates
