The author studies the approximation of a locally unique solution to the generalized equation \(0\in f(x) + G(x)\), where \(f\) is a continuous mapping between two Banach spaces and \(G\) is a set-valued mapping with pseudo-Lipschitz inverse. The approximation suggested is a Steffensen-type method. Convergence as well as perturbation results are provided.
