The \(q\)-Gamma function defined as \[ \Gamma_{q}(z) = \frac{(q;q)_{\infty}}{(q^{z}; q)_{\infty}} \left(1-q\right)^{1-z} , \;\;\text{ where } \;z \;\text{ is \;a\;complex\;number} \] is an important function in the theory of hypergeometric series and similar to the gamma function it can also be defined in terms of the shifted factorials. In this paper the authors derive several asymptotic formulas for the \(q\)-Gamma function based on two different modes. In the first mode it was considered \(z\to \infty\) and in the second mode \(z\) fixed however in both modes \(q\) tends to \(1\).
