Divergent infinite products often obtain a unique and meaningful value by zeta function regularization. For this, a certain zeta function must have a meromorphic extension to~\(0\). For example, the regularized product of all positive integers is~\(\sqrt{2\pi}\). The authors present a way of performing zeta function regularisation even if the zeta function involved has no unique meromorphic continuation at zero. This is achieved by meromorphic continuation along a path in~\(\mathbb C^2\). The result is independent of all necessary choices and extends the classical zeta function regularization. This way, the authors prove the statement in the title, which is not accessible by the classical approach.
