    Starting from a pair of positive solutions \((u,v)\in L^{p+1}(\mathbb R^n)\times L^{q+1}(\mathbb R^n)\) of the system of integral equations \[ u(x)=\frac{1}{| x| ^\alpha} \int_{\mathbb R^n} \frac{v(y)\,dy}{| y| ^\beta| x-y| ^\lambda}, \qquad v(x)= \frac{1}{| x| ^\beta} \int_{\mathbb R^n} \frac{u(y)^p\,dy}{| y| ^\alpha| x-y| ^\lambda}, \] the authors give their asymptotic behaviour as \(x\to0\) when \(\lambda+\beta(q+1)<n\) and as \(x\to\pm\infty\) when \(\lambda q+\beta(q+1)>n\), assuming that \(p\geq1\), \(q\geq1\), \(pq>1\), and \(\alpha+\beta>0\).
