The authors formulate and study the interactive two-state model of cell membrane ion channels in an electric field on the Bethe lattice by means of the exact recursion relations. A Bethe lattice is the simplest possible branching medium which has no closed loops and can serve as an approximation to a real lattice for studying the transport properties. The procedure of investigation of transport properties based on exact recursion relations. Using known parameters for the conventional mean-field theory the model gives a good agreement with the experiment both at low and high trans-membrane potential values. For intermediate voltages, the numerical results imply that collective effects are introduced by trans-membrane voltage.
