A Torres condition for twisted Alexander polynomials (Q2467697)

The twisted Alexander polynomial associated with a representation of a finitely presentable group at a general linear group was introduced by \textit{M.~Wada} [Topology 33, No. 2, 241--256 (1994; Zbl 0822.57006)]. Especially for a link in the three-sphere and a representation of the fundamental group of the link complement at a special linear group, one can define the twisted Alexander polynomial. The aim of the paper under review is to give a `Torres condition' for the twisted Alexander polynomial, that is, to show a formula expressing the twisted Alexander polynomial of a sublink of a given link in terms of that of the original link.
