The author studies the limit behaviour, as \(\varepsilon\) goes to zero, of a family, depending on the parameter \(\varepsilon > 0\), of elliptic equations with rapidly oscillating coefficients. The equations are thought to model the stationary heat diffusion process in a two-component material. The first material occupies a connected region, the second one represents some periodically distributed inclusions of size \(\varepsilon\). On the contact surface the author requires the continuity of the conormal derivative and a jump of the solution proportional to the conormal derivative by means of a function of order \(\varepsilon^{\gamma}\), \(\gamma \in \mathbb{R}\). Different situations, depending on \(\gamma\), are considered.
