If \(K\) is a subset of a normed linear space \(X\) and \(T\) and \(I\) are self-mappings of \(K\), then \(T\) is called \(I\)-nonexpansive on \(K\) if \(\| Tx - Ty\| \leq \| Ix-Iy \|\) for \(x, y \in K\). The authors show that, if \(K\) is a closed, bounded, convex subset of a uniformly convex Banach space \(X\) with Opial's condition and \(T\) and \(I\) are self-mappings of \(K\) with \(T\) being \(I\)-nonexpansive and \(I\) nonexpansive, then any sequence of Mann iterates of \(T\) converges weakly to a common fixed point of \(T\) and \(I\).
