Independent tosses of coins are considered. At the renewal times of an independent renewal process coins with possibly different biases are tossed, and the fair coin is tossed at all the other times. This procedure gives rise to a probability measure, and the authors provide sufficient conditions for absolute continuity/singularity and contiguity/asymptotic separation of this probability with respect to the probability corresponding to independent tosses of the fair coin.
