Instability in a flame ball problem (Q2469383)

The authors prove the instability of stationary radial flame ball solutions of a free boundary problem that models the combustion of a gaseous mixture with dust in a microgravity environment. The mathematical formulation of such a problem was suggested in [\textit{J. B. van den Berg, V. Guyonne} and \textit{J. Hulshof}, SIAM J. Appl. Math. 67, No. 1, 116--137 (2006; Zbl 1114.80007)].
