This paper considers the elementary operator \(d_{AB}\), where \(d_{AB}(X)=AX-XB\) or \(d_{AB}(X)=AXB-X\), acting on \(B(H)\) (the algebra of all bounded linear operators on a complex Hilbert space). It is proved for log-hyponormal or \(p\)-hyponormal entries \(A\) and \(B^*\) that \((d_{AB}-\lambda)^{-1}(0)\subseteq(d_{A^*B^*}-\overline{\lambda})^{-1}(0)\), \(\text{asc}(d_{AB}-\lambda)\leq1\) and the kernel and the range of operator \(d_{AB}-\lambda\) are orthogonal in the Birkhoff--James sense.
