Let \(k\) be a field of characteristic \(0\), \(R = k[x_1, \dots, x_n]\) a polynomial ring and \(I \subset R\) a homogeneous ideal such that \(A = R/I\) is Artinian. In the present paper, the authors study the strong Stanley property, strong and weak Lefschetz properties of \(A\). First they characterize these properties of \(A\) by using numerical invariants, defined in [Commun. Algebra 35, No. 7, 2281--2297 (2007; Zbl 1118.13011)], of the generic initial ideal \(\text{gin } I\) of \(I\). As a consequence of them, they show that certain graded Betti number of \(\text{gin } I\) is determined by the Hilbert function of \(A\) if \(A\) has the weak Lefschetz property. Second, they study the case of codimension \(3\). Assume \(R = k[x_1, x_2, x_3]\). Then they show that \(\text{gin } I\) is completely determined by the graded Betti number of \(I\) (resp.\ the Hilbert function of \(A\)) if \(A\) has the strong Lefschetz (resp., the Stanley) property.
