This study of transparent boundary conditions for Crank-Nicolson discretizations of the Schrödinger equation is a continuation of the authors' earlier work [part I, ibid. 4, No.~4, 741--766 (2006; Zbl 1119.65085)]. In this paper energy inequalities are used to prove stability with respect to perturbation of the initial data and the source term. Stability with respect to perturbation of the transparent boundary condition is proved using the theory of Hardy spaces of analytic functions.
