Fuzzy prime ideals in \(\Gamma\)-rings. (Q2470866)

This paper is concerned with fuzzy prime ideals in \(\Gamma\)-rings. Let \(\Gamma\) be an additive Abelian group. An additive Abelian group \(M\) is called a \(\Gamma\)-ring if there is a mapping \(f\colon M\times\Gamma\times M\to M\), \((a,\alpha,b)\mapsto a\alpha b\), satisfying \((a+b)\alpha c=a\alpha c+b\alpha c\), \(a(\alpha+\beta)b=a\alpha b+a\beta b\), \(a\alpha(b+c)=a\alpha b+a\alpha c\), and \(a\alpha(b\beta c)=(a\alpha b)\beta c\) for all \(a,b,c\in M\) and for all \(\alpha,\beta\in\Gamma\). \textit{Y. B. Jun} [Soochow J. Math. 21, No. 1, 41-48 (1995; Zbl 0827.16033)] defined fuzzy prime ideals of a \(\Gamma\)-ring and he obtained a number of characterizations for a fuzzy ideal to be a fuzzy prime ideal. In the paper under review the authors give a characterization of a fuzzy prime ideal which has already been obtained by Jun in a different way, and also some new characterizations of these ideals are presented. Finally, a one to one correspondence between the set of all fuzzy prime ideals of a \(\Gamma\)-ring and the set of all fuzzy prime ideals of the operator rings of the \(\Gamma\)-ring is established.
