In this erratum, the authors acknowledge that Lemma~1 in [Integral Equations Oper.\ Theory 57, No.\,2, 209--215 (2007; Zbl 1154.47003)] is incorrect. They need the additional assumption \(p>2\) in Theorem~3, that is, if \(\mathcal{H}=\mathbb C^p\) for \(p>2\), then \(R(\Delta)\) is neither closed nor dense in \(\mathcal{B(H)}\).
