The authors consider parabolic problems of the form \(u_t+A(u)=\mu\) in \((0,T)\times\Omega\), \(u=0\) on \((0,T)\times\partial\Omega\), \(u(0,\cdot)=u_0\) in \(\Omega\), where \(\Omega\subset\mathbb R^N\) is open and bounded, \(A(u)=-\text{div}(a(t,x,u,\nabla u))\) is a Leray-Lions operator, \(u_0\in L^1(\Omega)\) and \(\mu\) is a bounded measure on \((0,T)\times\Omega\) which is absolutely continuous with respect to the parabolic capacity associated with the operator \(A(u)\). They extend a previous notion of entropy solutions and prove that these solutions coincide with the renormalized solutions.
