The author investigates a nonlinear delay discrete equation. The main idea is to study the oscillation and asymptotic stability of the model. A sufficient condition for the oscillation of all positive solutions of the model is established. Lower and upper bounds of oscillatory solutions and a sufficient condition for the global attractivity are presented. The oscillation result guarantees the prevalence of the population about the normal sizes of the population and the global attractivity result guarantees the nonexistence of dynamical diseases on the population.
