Random fixed point theorems for Caristi type random operators (Q2471350)

This paper establishes the existence of random fixed points of random operators satisfying certain contractive conditions. As an application, the authors obtain a random fixed point theorem for Caristi type random operators. The paper improves and generalizes the several well-known results in the literature (the most recent of which is [\textit{G.\,Isac} and \textit{J.--L.\thinspace Li}, Comput.\ Math.\ Appl, 47, No.\,10--11, 1745--1751 (2004; Zbl 1078.47049)]).
