Let \(M\) be a non-compact Riemannian manifold. In many instances one can define the scattering resonances which serve as discrete data analogous to the eigenvalues studied in the compact setting when examining questions of isospectrality. Two metrics are said to be isopolar if they have the same scattering resonances with multiplicities. One can define a further notion of scattering phase -- this is roughly analogous to the counting function for eigenvalues in the compact setting. The condition that two metrics be isophasal is stronger than isopolarity. Let \(n\geq8\). The authors exhibit continuous families of Riemannian metrics on \(\mathbb R^n\) which are compactly supported perturbations of the standard Euclidean metric, which have the same scattering phase and resonances, and which have infinitely many scattering resonances.
