Let \(\alpha \in (0, 2)\), \(m > 0\) and \(\mu \) be a (signed) measure in Kato class. \(C(\lambda )\) denotes the bottom of the spectrum of the Schrödinger type operator: \[ (- \Delta + m^ {2/\alpha })^ {\alpha /2} - m - \lambda \mu \] It is proved that \(C\) is differentiable. As an application, a form of the large deviation principle is established.
