Given \(\lambda\in{\mathbb R}_+^n\), the \(\lambda\)-distance on \({\mathbb R}^n\) is defined as \(| x-y| _\lambda=(\sum_i| x_i-y_i| ^{1/\lambda_i})^{| \lambda| /n}\), where \(| \lambda| =\sum\lambda_i\). A nonisotropic spherical potential of a function \(f\) integrable on the unit \(\lambda\)-sphere \(\Omega_{n,\lambda}\) is defined as \[ I_\lambda^{\alpha(x)}f(x)=\int_{\Omega_{n,\lambda}}| x-y| _\lambda^{\alpha(x)-n}f(y)\,dy,\quad x\in \Omega_{n,\lambda}. \] It is shown that if \(0<m\leq\alpha(x)<n\), then \(\| I_\lambda^{\alpha(x)}f\| _r\leq M\| f\| _p\) for \(f\in L^p(\Omega_{n,\lambda})\), where \(M\) depends on \(\lambda\), \(m\), and \(n\), provided \(1<p\leq r\) and \(n/p-n/r<m\) (or \(1<p< r\) and \(n/p-n/r=m\)).
